Be Stubble Free

Laser treatment for unwanted hair is a non-invasive approach to permanent reduction and long-term hair removal. Treatment is specifically designed to eliminate undesired hair from all parts of the body. The treatment will safely eliminate hundreds of unwanted hair follicles in seconds. Unlike many other treatment methods, Laser Therapy leaves your skin looking and feeling smoother and softer!

What are the Benefits?
The FDA approved this technology for permanent hair reduction.
You experience no down time. Resume regular activities immediately.
Less pain and discomfort compared to other treatment methods.
Large areas can be treated quickly.
Chances of scarring and pigmentation changes are minimized.

What is a treatment like?
Hair should be shaved the day prior to treatment. First, the area to be treated is cleansed. The laser produces a beam of highly concentrated light. Without damaging the surrounding tissue, controlled pulses of light penetrate the skin and are absorbed by the hair follicles. The heat damages or destroys the potential for regrowth. After the treatment area is cleansed a lotion may be applied. Large areas such as backs, shoulders, abdomens, and legs can be treated quickly. Facial areas such as the lip, chin and beard can be treated in minutes.

How many treatments are required?
Multiple treatments are necessary to damage hair follicles to the extent that they will not regrow.

Who are Candidates for treatment?
Men, women, and children have been successfully treated. Treatments are customized according to hair color, texture and body location. Nearly all hair colors – black, brown, and red – can be treated. Treatment is effective on all skin types, including dark-skinned individuals of all ethnic origins. To find out if you are a candidate, ask to schedule a consultation.

Is treatment painful?
The laser flashes so quickly that you may only feel a mild sting. Most patients tolerate the procedure well. No local anesthesia or pain medication is required, but topical anesthetic is recommended to make treatment as comfortable as possible.

Are there any possible side effects?
Side effects are rare. Blistering, soft scabbing, or crusting can sometimes occur at the treatment site, but resolves quickly or within a few days. In certain cases, the skin could become slightly lighter or darker. You will be notified during your consult if you are susceptible to these side effects. You must limit your sun exposure for 2 to 4 weeks before and after treatment. This will greatly minimize the risk of complications. Redness typically lasts from a few hours to rarely a day or two.

How much does the treatment cost?
Pricing is based on the area treated, and how many treatments are necessary to achieve desired results.
